Last week, we brought you the latest rendering from the Empire Outlets project. Today, we have more news about the mall -and- about it's sister project, the New York Wheel. New videos were posted to the official New York Wheel YouTube channel recently featuring the likes of New York Wheel CEO Rich Marin as well as Staten Island Borough President James Oddo. These heavy hitters of Staten Island sound off about what these projects are going to mean to SI and it's residents.

As the construction progresses, we'll be seeing more and more of the Empire Outlets, which will be opening in St. George in 2016. The video below shows new renderings of the complex which is now more than 50% leased out. If you're looking for another reason to brag about our island to your out of town friends, showing them this video would be a pretty good place to start.
